IPv6 for LIRs Training Course, Leeds, 21st April 2011

Well it was recently pointed out to me that it is a very, very long time since anything was put on this blog! So here's hoping this is the first of some more regular postings on my behalf.

I just wanted to let you all know about an upcoming training course in Leeds:

IPv6 for LIRs Training Course, Thursday 21st April 2011

The course is run by the RIPE NCC, you can register here and it will be hosted by AQL.

The course is free to everyone, although you should only attend if you are part of the staff of a Local Internet Registry (LIR).

After this course you will:

* Be able to create a deployment plan for IPv6 in your organisation

* Understand the differences and similarities between IPv4 and IPv6

* Know that deploying IPv6 will enable continued IP networking growth

* Understand the implications of running out of available IPv4 address space

This course is a great opportunity for anyone currently thinking about deploying IPv6, and i'd say it's fairly unlikely another course will be held in Yorkshire for quite some time, so don't miss out!
